Crazily, my editors at Shout! thought I could be a cover girl. After a flurry of activity, it appears I can be, or am, really, as this week's issue, featuring yours truly and (unexpectedly) OSRTS, is on the stands.

I just want to thank everyone here again--Jim, Chris, Lisa, Beth, the Shout! design team and Jessica at Bellwether Boutique, who provided my dress, the very Marc Jacobs-esque and entirely lovely creation of Omaha designer Brandy Brandt. The OSRTS write-up was funny and totally flattering, and I'm so appreciative of that, too. If you're here because you picked up Shout! this week, welcome! I'm happy to have you.

I still can't quite believe it happened. As it turns out, it was a good send-off for that much-loved hair style of mine--I've gotten a new one this weekend, and I'll debut it here tomorrow.
